MinimalFit ("we", "our", "the app") is a fitness tracking application built by Ayush Nagpal. Your privacy matters — this policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

1. Data We Collect

• Account Information — Email address and display name (via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In) used solely for authentication.
• Workout Data — Exercises, sets, reps, weights, and workout timestamps you log within the app.
• Profile Information — Height, weight, age, fitness goal, experience level, and preferred training days.
• Subscription Status — Whether you have an active MinimalFit Pro subscription (managed by RevenueCat).

2. How We Use Your Data

• To sync your workouts and profile across your devices via Google Firebase Firestore.
• To display your workout analytics and personal records.
• To manage your Pro subscription entitlements.
• To send workout reminders (only if you enable them).

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication & Firestore (Google) — Account management and cloud data storage. Firebase Privacy Policy

• Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In — Authentication only; we receive your email and name.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Local data is stored on-device using Apple's SwiftData framework and is protected by your device passcode and iOS data protection.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties. We do not use any advertising or analytics tracking SDKs. Your data is only shared with the third-party services listed above for the sole purpose of operating the app.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account within the app. This deletes your cloud data, local data, and Firebase account immediately.

7. Children's Privacy

MinimalFit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through the app. For any privacy-related requests, contact us at the email below.

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date.
